Shalini Singh

Hey, I’m Shalini — storyteller, wine explorer, and the voice behind WineTelegrams.

Wine has taken me across vineyards, into cellars, and into conversations with the people behind what we drink.

I’m a James Beard Foundation scholar and studied Wine & Gastronomy Management at Le Cordon Bleu London, followed by a Master’s in Wine Tourism Innovation. But beyond formal training, I believe wine is best learned by drinking, travelling, and staying curious.

I’ve explored wine regions across Spain, France, Portugal, Greece, Luxembourg, Australia, New Zealand, Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria and beyond — working hands-on during harvests and diving deep into the stories that shape each bottle.

I started WineTelegrams to make wine feel more approachable, especially for an Indian audience — whether you’re choosing a bottle, planning a wine trip, or just trying to understand what’s in your glass.

Expect: simple wine insights, travel notes, hidden gems, and a few cheat codes along the way.
